At a recent company dinner, staff from Town & County Group Aberdeen raised £450 for Grampian based project 'Give Kids a Chance'.

Staff and partners were asked to make a donation to take part in a raffle.  Prizes available included digital cameras, a 37" TV and an iPad.

Heather Wilson from Give Kids a Chance was delighted with the donation. 'We were delighted to receive this donation so early in the Year. Donations from local businesses enables us to continue the programme.'

Give Kids a Chance is a Grampian wide project providing an early intervention service for disadvantaged young people between the ages of 10 – 18 years.  There are 155 places available to young people living in Aberdeen(100), Fraserburgh (20), Peterhead (15) and Moray (20).

The Give Kids a Chance team use involvement in social and leisure activities to improve self confidence and self esteem and help young people to develop their practical and social skills.  The project co-ordinates access to music, sport and craft activity sessions.  A team of sessional staff and volunteers support the delivery of activities and two full time staff provide the administrative and management functions.

Town and County served its 100th year in business last year.  They represent Honda, Land Rover and Porsche franchises in Aberdeen.
